Accolade at Collegiate Village East

The Accolade East was conceived as both a high-performing student housing asset and a placemaking anchor for the continued redevelopment of Collegiate Way near UCF. The five-story community delivers 511 beds across 176 units at a density of 63.1 units per acre, integrating residential density with a ground-floor restaurant and retail center to activate the street and strengthen the project’s relationship to the larger district. A dual-courtyard site strategy supports multiple resident experiences, from active pool-centered gathering to quieter spaces for studying, relaxing, and recharging.

Architecturally, the building uses a layered material palette of brick, white and dark panel systems, warm accent cladding, and prominent corner balconies to establish a contemporary but durable identity. Programming is deliberately aligned with the needs of today’s students, including co-working lounges on every floor, fitness amenities, heated pool access, direct university transportation connectivity, and a layout that supports both individual focus and community life. For developers, the project demonstrates how density, mixed-use activation, and strong amenity planning can work together to create a more valuable and differentiated student housing environment.
